Three little clouds

Look at them.
They just went there, behind my back.

The cutest three companions. The sunny day clouds.
I could hear them humming their happy songs.

And then came this big one.
Or then all three of them just decided to become one.
They stopped for a while. Just above my head.
They said: "Hi".

Dress: vainio.seitsonen

You can variate the length of that dress with a long string inside the dress.

I'm totally obsessed with all kind of reflections and shadows. It has been a thing for
me since I grabbet my first ever camera seven months ago.
The first two are taken with my dear Soviet camera
( wish I could remember it's label, you know I can't read russian)
and the next two with my Pentax P30n. Bouth are of course film cameras,
but to tell the truth I don't own a scanner so I had to photograph
my protos with my digital Olympus. How modern is that!

Finnish designers II

Lumi's most famous model: a shopping bag in leather.

All the shoes are Finsk by Julia Lundsten

This time there's Finsk by Julia Lundsten, Cecilia Sörensen and Lumi accesories. I'm continuing with the most known labels, I really would had wanted to present Antti Asplund who's truly different, for you but I didn't get any photos to show, so you can visit his website.
I absolutely adore all the Finsk shoes, you just have to see her collections!
Lumi's thing is an absolute simplicity, whereas Cecilia Sörensen makes simple clothes with beautiful details. I'm sorry that any of the photos isn't that good...

Finnish designers part I

All the shoes by Minna Parikka

From Ivana Helsinki's collection of summer 2009

I thought about showing a couple of pictures of young Finnish designers' products VERY briefly, which are probably the two best known ones in Finland at the moment. This is because most of our readers are not from Finland. I'm talking about Paola Suhonen (designer of Ivana Helsinki) and Minna Parikka, a shoe and a bag designer. It's worth it to check out Ivana Helsinki's web site, once I didn't manage to get other photos, and that isn't such a great one.
Lately we've been (with Ruhvana) quite crazy about Ivana Helsinki. Trust me, you're going to see quite many photos including those dresses...

These ones here (by Spy Optik -brand) are something I'm going to introduce you better maybe in my next posting.

Sometimes it's quite hard to find perfect eye glasses. I've been very lucky pretty much whole my life when it comes to finding perfect eye wear, and I've been wearing them for 14 years, so I know what I'm talking about. The best places in Finland I've been to are Jyväs-Optiikka in Jyväskylä, which is a small boutique (small and maybe little bit more expensive places are the best ones, once their collections are more personal and high quality, and the service is better), and then there's T-Optik in Helsinki.
I (and especially not Ruhvana) don't like using pictures shown in other blogs, but in this posting I had to use some of Garance Dore's, once her photos of glasses are near perfection which I haven't been able to find anywhere else. The pic of Ruhvana by Facehunter is expection once there's her in the photo!

Or would some of you know blogs that are specialized in eye wear?
